I picked up the “The Road to Chess Improvement” once again and was struck by a thought that this book's title may be interpreted as the reader's road to improvement. Each member of the team was eager to discuss their games with their more experienced adversaries afterwards which is definitely a big step forwards down the 'chess improvement' road. Views are varied as to the best way to improve at chess. Lately, I've been most pleased with my recent internet chess games. Some say that learning about planning, key squares, minority attacks, and other positional aspects is the best way to improve at chess. A radical change from cliché training methods.
